The big excitment of Saturday
Michele's room was looking pretty scary... I thought for sure she was going to go into her room one of these days and not come back out! She was cleaning it up and irritated with me, its a teenager thing I guess, and I hear this scream. I knew it was definitely a hurt cry, so I head down the hall and she meets me half way with her thumb sticking straight out! She is crying "Mom, I was taking it out of my pants!"
So I am looking around for my wire cutters to cut the the end off and slide it through the other way. Anytime, that I got close to the hook she is screaming louder. I gave up that plan, on to plan B. I have her at the kitchen table, hold her hand down, then I sat on her lap, in an attempt to keep her still. I grab it with the pliers and slide it out backwards quickly. We washed it up with antibacterial soap, peroxide, bandaged it up with neosporin. She was really good about the whole thing. But all she kept saying was "do I have to go to the hospital?" You had a tetanus shot last August and it isn't that bad.... But she asked if I was putting it online, pretty bad when your kids know what you blog! LOL Just another reminder
they are always watching!!!!!

YOWCH! Is that a fish hook? ow ow ow ow
Yup fish hook!
I am seriously laughing picturing you sitting on her lap. What was a fish hook doing in her pants in the first place? Poor girl, looks like it hurt but girls are so dramatic they have to do everything as if the cameras are rolling anyway. I am so laughing at the drama not that she got a owie. Sorry Michele!! Happy Birthday!! Hugs and Loves!!
OOOh! Ouchie! That must have hurt. Were you just trying to reel her in? haha
Michele wanted to keep what she calls "my tackle" in her room and refused to put it with the other fishing stuff in the garage. Grandpa Bob bought a lot of it for her last summer when she went fishing in Prescott. So she feels it is very special. I tried to explain it is dangerous in your room. Anyway, needless to say she moved it herself that evening into the garage. I didn't say anything when I saw her carrying it. LOL Lesson learned I assume.
OWIE! looks like that hurt bad! glad she has a super resourceful mommy to the rescue! hehe hopefully lesson learned! Poor baby!
