Things got really crazy with the ward Christmas party 3 days before Christmas! It took almost 2 days to recover from that. But the worst part was that I didn't have any time to finish my shopping until we finished with that event so I was out late shopping Friday and Saturday then getting up early for church on Sunday killed me. But Santa still got to our house and the kids didn't notice anything and everyone got what they wanted. And the funny thing is I spent less this year then we usually do. I guess it is because for those you who know me know I am done before Thanksgiving! I started just before Halloween but I was literally running all over doing things for too many people. I guess that is how I was blessed with strength to get through all of the events I had to do and help out with. But I did take New Years off. I didn't have any friends or family over to celebrate. After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner at my house I was done. Not to mention two kids birthday parties just before Thanksgiving. My gosh, not including PTO. They keep us soooooo busy! Although we did get a couple weeks off from that. Anyway HAPPY NEW YEAR! hope this year brings many new blessings
